Match.com is a long-running online dating site with a plethora of paying clients intent on finding the person of their dreams.  While the iPhone app does lack the ability to chat with other members that are online currently, the messaging and profiles functions work just fine.  The app is free to download but a monthly membership fee is still required for use.

Match.com has recenetly acquired this former online dating rivals, and has chosen to keep the two companies as separate entities in a brilliant marketing venture.  They know that some of their clients prefer the way things are done at OKCupid, and it is no surprise that there have been no big changes.  The downloadable application is free, just like the site, and has many of the favorite functions on it.

The designers at eHarmony took their time creating this app, and their dedication to their craft really shows.  The members asked, the members got, and now the members are raving.  A few people dislike the fact that you will be logged out after 30 minutes of inactivity, but this may be a function that is fixed in a newer version.

Social Connect

The award winning social networking site has dipped its toe into the online dating world to tumultuous success.  The result, Social Connect, is not only an app on Facebook, but has its own free iPhone app as well.  This app allows you to message, wink, send virtual gifts, and even lets you sound out real gifts to potential suitors.

Zoosk

Zoosk is one of the most popular online dating sites for those over in Europe and Australia, and is slowly gaining a strong following in the United States.  If you are looking to expand your dating options overseas, then this app is for you.
