When dating is there a scientific way for a gal to know if a guy really likes her?  Probably, but most of us aren’t scientists and is it really romantic to use science to know?  There are some signs however, that are really good indicators if a guy likes you. 

One of those signs is if the guy pays you a lot of attention.  It might be subtle at first so you will have to keep an eye open for those hints.  If he would rather talk to you than his guy friends then that should give you an inkling of an idea that he is definitely interested.  Of course, the real test for most sports loving guys is will he spend time with you if his favorite team is playing?

The classic guy will present you with flowers and maybe candy.  This is a really big step so at this point you probably already had a clue that he is in to you.  How can you tell if the guy is interested in you if you have met him online?  Do you have more than a few messages from him?  Does he respond right away to your messages?  The best way to find out if an online interest likes you is to start with some easy questions.

Establish if he is seeing other people.  It’s a common question, lets him know that you are curious and that maybe you want to stake a claim.  Some shy guys might have some trouble closing the deal on asking you out on a date.

It can be intimidating, because seemingly women hold most of the cards when it comes to online dating.  Encourage him to ask you out.  Mention that you would love to see a movie this weekend or let him know that your favorite band is in town next week.

If he has an opening like this and doesn’t take it then he is either not the swiftest or he isn’t interested.   If you aren’t afraid of a little rejection you could put yourself out there and just ask bluntly when he’s going to ask you out.  Some guys actually like a woman to be forward and they may have been the question that he has been waiting for.
